The simple terms that apply when you book with us or use our website.
1. About These Terms
These Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings made with The Royal Beauty Bar (“we”, “us”, “our”) and to your use of our website. By booking an appointment or using this site, you agree to these terms. Nothing in these terms excludes your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
2. Bookings
- Appointments can be made online, by phone (0452 534 615 / 0474 144 936), or in person at either of our Yokine salons.
- Online booking requests are confirmed by our team — your appointment is secured once you receive confirmation.
- Walk-ins are welcome, but booked clients are served at their scheduled time and take priority.
- For some longer treatments or peak periods, we may request a small deposit to secure your booking. Deposits are applied to your final treatment cost.
3. Cancellations & Rescheduling
- We ask for at least 24 hours’ notice to cancel or reschedule an appointment so the time can be offered to another client.
- Cancellations with less than 24 hours’ notice, or failure to attend (“no-show”), may result in loss of any deposit paid and/or a deposit being required for future bookings.
- If we ever need to cancel or move your appointment, we’ll give you as much notice as possible and offer the next available time that suits you.
4. Arrival & Late Policy
- New clients: please arrive 10–15 minutes early to complete your consultation form.
- If you arrive late, we’ll do our best to accommodate you, but your treatment may need to be shortened or rescheduled so other clients aren’t kept waiting. Full treatment price may still apply for shortened sessions caused by late arrival.
5. Treatments & Client Responsibility
- Please disclose any allergies, skin conditions, medical conditions, pregnancy, or medications (such as retinoids) during your consultation — this information is essential for performing treatments safely.
- We may decline or modify a treatment if we believe it isn’t safe or suitable for you. Your safety always comes first.
- Patch tests may be required for certain treatments (such as tinting or lash adhesives) at least 24–48 hours before your first appointment.
- Results vary between individuals depending on skin and hair type. We always aim for the best possible outcome and will advise you honestly during consultation.
6. Prices & Payment
- All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and include GST where applicable.
- Prices and special offers may change from time to time; the price confirmed at booking applies to your appointment.
- Payment is taken in salon after your treatment. We accept cash and major debit/credit cards. Package deals may be paid upfront to secure the discounted rate.
7. Packages, Offers & Vouchers
- Package deals (e.g. 5-visit packages) are valid for the named client, are non-transferable, and must be used within 12 months of purchase unless stated otherwise.
- Promotional offers cannot be combined with other discounts unless explicitly stated.
- Packages and vouchers are non-refundable except where required by Australian Consumer Law.
8. Satisfaction & Complaints
We want every client to leave happy. If you’re not satisfied with a treatment, please tell us before leaving the salon or contact us within 48 hours at info@theroyalbeautybar.com.au — we’ll always work with you to make it right, including a complimentary adjustment where appropriate.
9. Children & Accompanying Persons
Clients under 16 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian, and some treatments may not be available to minors. For everyone’s comfort and safety, children attending with you must be supervised at all times.
10. Website Use & Intellectual Property
- All content on this website — text, images, logos and branding — belongs to The Royal Beauty Bar and may not be copied or reused without our written permission.
- We work hard to keep website information accurate and up to date, but details such as prices and hours may occasionally change before the site is updated. Confirmed details are provided at booking.
- You agree not to misuse this website, including attempting to gain unauthorised access or submitting false booking information.
11. Liability
To the extent permitted by law, The Royal Beauty Bar is not liable for any indirect or consequential loss arising from your use of this website or our services. Nothing in these terms limits any guarantee, warranty or right you have under the Australian Consumer Law, including the consumer guarantees that services will be provided with due care and skill.
12. Privacy
Your personal information is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy, available at /privacy-policy/.
13. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms & Conditions from time to time. The latest version will always be published on this page, and continued use of our website or services after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
